It might seem contradictory to say lifestyle and portrait in the same sentence, but I want our photo session to feel relaxed and look timeless. We will take some smiling, posed portraits, but we will also laugh at each other, splash around in the water, and get some movement into our photos! 

Your photos will be delivered in a digital gallery. Easy to use, easy to access, and easy to share. If grandma wants to order prints, send her the link and she can pick and choose the photos she wants, while you pick out your own favorites to hang on your walls. 

I make unique hand edits to every.single.photo. Photo editing is my first love (photography wise), and so I rarely let an image go untouched. 

Things I do: 

Brighten, whiten teeth, add color pops, soften and sharpen when needed, remove minor skin flaws or accidental owies, add the WOW factor. 

Things I don't do: 

One click editing (presets/filters), major body retouching, unrealistic edits.

We will follow the light during our session, and your gallery will reflect that! No two galleries will ever have the same finished "look", in the same way that no two sunsets are every really the same. Images in your gallery may start off bright and colorful, and fade to creamy pastels towards the end. My editing style ensures that there will be a cohesiveness to your gallery, but it won't all be the same light---that's for sure! (And I consider that to be a good thing)
